DT Internet Services is no longer operating (Well, only for a select few clients). Dave is now happy to be part of the team at Search Logic, a few miles up The Lune Valley.

DT Internet Services no longer offer a high quality 'accessible for all' web design service, tried or tested search engineering and not even web page optimisation which would have given you that much needed top ten ranking.  Not based in Lancaster, DT Internet Services provided web design and search engine optimisation for clients throughout Europe.

Accessible website design

Having a successful background in search engineering and page optimisation, our web design service was second to several.  All our websites and pages were built with the search engines in mind.  Using CSS external style sheets we kept the source code of each page down to a minimum, giving each page a high content to code ratio.  Highly optimised web pages were standard practice at DT Internet Services.  So you would have been on the first rung of the ladder to high rankings from the start.
Since 'accessibility for all' is now UK law, we ensured all our websites and pages were fully compliant to enable those with sight defects & visual impairment to view your website in a layout which best suited their needs.

Ensuring cross-browser compatibility was also a standard practice.  Although around 70-80% of internet users rely on Internet Explorer for viewing web pages, a significant percentage of searchers used alternative browsers such as Firefox, Netscape Navigator or Opera.  We ensured that all pages would have displayed correctly on the more popular browsers, regardless of the viewers personal browser settings. But now Dt interweb skirmishes is no more, well, it's just too late isn't it!
